Similarly, it is essential to clean it after each use, but we will also give you some tips for you to put them into practice before each trip and thus avoid great evils.

Many pets get dizzy inside the carriers. Sometimes it's because of the stress that comes with getting in there and others because we're not aware of the movements we make when we carry it in our hand.

For this reason, it is advisable to put in the base periodic and / or a cotton soaker. This way, if your pet vomits or does its needs, it will be much easier to remove.

Absorbent microfiber towels are also very useful. Dog diapers are also necessary if it is a hairy one who has incontinence or a bitch during his time of heat.

Clean the carrier after the trip
One of the great advantages of large plastic or metal carriers is that they can be disassembled, making them easier to clean.

That, yes: a lot of eye on using our home cleaning products on pet carriers! For them you must use specific products.

For example, there are disinfectant sprays that will help you remove any bacteria from each part of the carrier. These sprays are also usually eliminated and remove stains very well, so they will leave the perfect carrier. Spray the cabin well and then dry it thoroughly with a clean cloth.

He thinks that sometimes we take our pet in the transporter to the vet because they're sick. Any caution is low!

Another option is neutral soaps. When animals are afraid they secrete a hormone whose odor can become impregnated within the carrier. We won't smell it, but they will! Washing the carrier with a neutral-smelling soap, you'll end that problem.

On the other hand there are the fabric carriers that are not at all rigid. These can be put directly in the washing machine and washed with hot water. However, avoid detergents and softeners of strong odors. Better the neutral soaps, as we said before.

In the case of semi-rigid carriers, they must also be washed by hand like large ones. You can use a cloth moistened with the spray or soap, then rinse thoroughly and let it dry in the sun. If it has become hair embedded in the inner fabric, you can help with the handheld vacuum cleaner.

Remember that for them it is not very pleasant to get into these bags or cages... imagine if you find any gifts from their previous experience!
