Tips for training with your dog in summer

We love spending time with our furry! That's why, especially in summer, we like to do sports with our dogs. However, we have to take into account certain aspects when we go out to train together this summer so that neither of us suffers. Very attentive!

Tips for going out to train in summer with your pet
1. Beware of schedule
It doesn't matter what sport you're going to practice with your dog: you have to know when to do it.

The heat in summer can play us very bad passes to both humans and animals. Dehydration, sunstroke, heatstroke... no good! That is why it is recommended that you go out to training with your pet first thing in the morning; this is before 10:30 hours, or late in the afternoon (after 20:30 hours).

2. Don't forget hydration
Even if you take to the streets in the hours when the sun doesn't get too tight, don't forget that you and your four-legged partner need to hydrate after exercise. Don't leave the water at home!

3. Train in the permitted places
As we know, not everywhere our pets are welcome. Therefore, if you are going to play Disc Dog in a park, if you are going to skate on an avenue or, above all, if you are going to swim with your dog on a beach, make sure that its presence is accepted to avoid fines.

4. a lot of eye with injuries and stings
Injuries and stings include veterinary emergencies.

And we go very comfortable with our sneakers, but we forget that the hairy ones go with their pads in the open.

The trips to the mountain or to rocky areas of the beach can cause injuries to your legs (cuts, burns...), as well as other injuries caused by instability of the terrain.

In addition, mosquitoes, fleas, etc. are always lurking. So if you protect yourself by taking an insect repellent, don't forget to de-parade your dog during the holidays so that he's protected too.

5. Moderate the pace
Your dog may be used to doing sports with you, but the heat can cause you to fatigue more than usual for him and you.

Do not reverse the rhythm, it is better to lower the level a little one day and that you both feel good at the end.

The time we spend with our dogs is worth gold. Make the most of summer and go out and train with it!
